I agree with visionary Sam Altman’s thoughts. He says that before today’s Generation Z and α become older, many space-based jobs will be within reach, and the salaries for those jobs will be just about through the roof.

This is not the world of science fiction. It’s our children’s generation! Those who are in college now, for sure, are coming. The majority of folks are still too illiterate to understand it, but they should at least have it in their heads somewhere.

“Not only will they be reeling in sky-high salaries, but Altman says they’ll also be ”feeling so bad for you and I that we had to do this really boring, old work and everything is just better.” is how I feel too. I envy you, kids.

How can we use AI tools as a “wallop” to let our imaginations flap beyond that, rather than just a silly use of GPT to make college assignments easier in the middle of night. Again, the “going beyond” mindset is important here. We cannot ask AI to train that for us.

SFの世界ではないです。我々の子供たちの世代ですよ！いま大学生の人たちは確実に、来る。まだ、あまりピンと来てない情弱な人たちが大多数ですけど、せめて頭のどこかには入れておいた方がいい。

中途半端に大学の課題を楽にするためだけのGPTの愚かな使い方ではなく、その先へ想像力を羽ばたかせるための「壁打ち」として、いかに AI ツールを利用していくか。やはりここでも「その先へ」のマインドセットが重要になります。それはAIに代わりに鍛えてもらう訳にはいかないので。
